HEFT is what happens when art, language, and social research collide to create something entirely new. Since 2016, Ina Römling and Torben Körschkes have been operating at the very edge of the cultural conversation, moving between installations, publications, and performative readings that challenge how we actually live together. They are not just artists; they are investigators of the human connection, recognized for their ability to turn complex societal questions into profound, sensory experiences.
The collection with HEFT starts exactly here.
The foundation is their performative reading Hydraritual, a text about a future society where history is never fixed but stays in a constant state of flux. They use the Hydra as a symbol for all of it: diversity, change, and the collective act of creating. From that thought, we get shirts that feel layered and stay in motion, almost like a fragment pulled from a much larger story.
The design doesn't tell you what to think. Instead, it gives you these little impulses to question, to look again, and to rearrange. Together, we’ve made this artistic research wearable. It isn’t meant to be an answer. It’s an invitation to take a stand and stay open to whatever perspective comes next.
