The Hydra is a body that grows, transforms and never stands still. HEFT made this image the starting point of a performative reading. The print translates passages from Hydraritual into a visual language of text and fragments. Myth and present tense intertwine. Between blue and white, a shifting cartography of collective memory unfolds.
Lines and text fragments weave into a fluid structure. Language, landscape and movement flow into one another. On the sleeves, the text continues. The motif does not stop.
HEFT has worked collaboratively on socio-spatial questions since 2016. Through installations, publications and workshops they examine forms of coexistence and social negotiation. This longsleeve is an echo of that. Of what is remembered, transformed and begins again.
